Hastings Children’s Aid Society
1957 - 1966
In 1965 the question of a new headquarters for the Society was discussed in detail. There was general agreement that the existing facilities were not only inadequate but left much to be desired. Mr. Kerr was asked to explore further the possibility of securing land, recently declared surplus by the Ontario School for the Deaf, from the Ontario Government. This piece of land was north of the school.
